In autumn Kyiv will welcome the ЕКОТЕХ first trade show-forum of ecologic technologies. The event will present for the first time innovational developments in environmental protection sphere and efficient nature management, which are highly important for modernization of domestic industrial enterprises, because ecologic situation in the country is almost disastrous.
On May 12 in Plovdiv (Bulgaria) the winners of the 14th International Exhibition Poster Competition*, which gathered 136 works from 17 countries, were announced. Poster by Euroindex Ltd. took second place in the nomination of ‘General Image Posters’ and brought the third victory to the company in this competition.

On March 2, in the KyivExpoPlaza venue, the biggest specialized trade show in Ukraine for technologies of industrial refrigeration, air-conditioning and ventilation ‘Industrial Cold 2010’, has started its work. On September, 15th, in KyivExpoPlaza exhibition centre, presentation of the first study book in Ukraine for educational institutions, Fundamentals of the Exhibition Marketing, by Valerii Pekar — well-known expert in sphere of exhibition industry, president of Euroindex Ltd., member of the Board of Directors of the Global Association of Exhibition Industry UFI, was held. Presentation gathered 23 professors and lecturers of leading Ukrainian high schools — State Academy of Managerial Personnel of Culture and Arts, Institute of Advertising, Kyiv National Economic University, Kyiv National Trade and Economic University, Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design.
In the beginning of September in the United Kingdom of Great Britain the first international conference on global exhibition business, Global Event Summit, was held. The purpose of the conference, where about 100 heads of the largest companies from 19 countries took part, was to exchange with opinions concerning global prospects of exhibition industry in conditions of cardinal changes of the world economic system. Together with speeches of top managers of the leading international exhibition companies and well-known economists, “brain storm” of global problems and presentations of breaking through technologies, 7 thematic discussions, emphasizing various perspective countries and regions, were held during the conference.
